What He Sends - Bridge

When looking back at all that has happened in David’s life (everything from green pastured to dark valleys), one thing he can say with confidence: “the Lord has only sent me goodness and mercy (loving-kindness)” This is not just what God sends, this is who He is.

  

Are we able to trust God and to say that all along He has been good? Do we look back at green pastures, dark valleys, and tables with enemies and KNOW that the Lord has only ever been good to us? Believing that the Lord is good no matter what, will help us grow in our dependence on Him.

 

We only need to look to the cross to be reminded of the goodness and loving-kindness of our Father. We gave Him rebellion, He responded with grace.
